Blocked Tokens

Blocked Tokens lets you stop specific tokens from counting toward your verify roles. Use it when a token was stolen, or when a bot passes one token between wallets to collect roles.

A blocked token never counts toward any verify role or giveaway entry in your server. It applies to every rule that uses the collection, so you only need to block a token once, even if the collection has an ANY rule, a trait rule and a quantity rule.

Block a token

  1. Open your Vulcan dashboard and select Blocked Tokens under Verify Roles in the sidebar.
  2. Select Block a token.
  3. Choose the Collection. The list shows the NFT collections your verify roles use.
  4. Enter the Token ID: the token's number, as shown on OpenSea or the marketplace.
  5. Optionally add a Note for your team, such as "stolen" or "bot wallet".
  6. Save.

The Blocked Tokens page lists every blocked token with its collection, note and the date it was added. To unblock a token, select the delete icon on its row; it counts toward roles and giveaway entries again from the next check.

What happens to members

  • A member who holds only blocked tokens from a collection loses the roles that collection grants at their next check: when they verify again, or at the next automatic role sync.
  • A member who holds a blocked token and other tokens from the collection keeps the role through the others.
  • Quantity roles count only unblocked tokens, so a blocked token can drop a member below a quantity tier.
  • If a Token ID rule requires a token you have blocked, nobody can meet that requirement while it stays blocked.

Results on member pages can take up to an hour to catch up.

What it does not affect

  • Staked rules.
  • The Sales Bot and Art Bot, which still post and display every token.
  • Other servers. Each server keeps its own list.
