Members
The Member Dashboard shows everyone in your Discord server, whether they have verified with Vulcan, which roles they hold, and how all of that is changing over time. Open any member to see their connected wallets, check their token holdings, and review their role history and support tickets.
Open it from Members under Community in the dashboard sidebar. The dashboard home page also shows the overview, with an All members link to the full list.
Before the first pull
Vulcan pulls every member of your server from Discord in the background after you set up the dashboard. Until that first pull finishes, the Member Dashboard only knows about members who have verified, so the counts read low and the list defaults to verified members. Join dates arrive with the pull.
After that, the Vulcan bot keeps the list current as members join, leave, and gain or lose roles.
Verified and not verified
- Verified means the member has linked a wallet to this server through Vulcan.
- Not verified means the member is in your server but has not linked a wallet here. They can still hold roles that Vulcan does not manage.
- Solving the captcha alone does not count as verified.
The overview
The top of the Member Dashboard summarises your server:
- Members, and how many are still in Discord's membership screening: they joined but have not agreed to your rules yet.
- Joined and Left in the last 30 days.
- New members verified: of the members who joined in the last 30 days and are still here, how many have linked a wallet. A low share usually means the joins are bots or spam accounts rather than collectors.
- Typical time in server: how long the median member has been in your server.
- Verified, Holding a Vulcan role, and Boosting your server.
- Role changes, last 30 days: members who gained or lost a Vulcan role.
- Rules needing attention: verify rules that are not granting their role, because the rule is paused, its Discord role was deleted, or nobody holds the role yet.
Below the summary:
- Member growth: your current members by the month they joined, as a running total. Members who have since left are not included, so earlier months read low.
- Joins and leaves over recent weeks.
- Members by role: how many members hold each role, and how many of them are verified.
- Vulcan role activity: roles granted and removed each week for the last 12 weeks.
- Newest members, recently verified, recently lost a role, and the members with the most wallets linked.
The overview is cached for a short while, so it can lag a few minutes behind Discord.
The member list
The list shows one row per member with their last known Discord roles and the wallets they have connected to this server. You can:
- Show all members, verified members only, or members who are not verified.
- Filter by role to see everyone holding a particular Discord role, Vulcan-managed or not.
- Sort by newest to join, longest in server, or most recently added to Vulcan.
- Search by Discord name, Discord ID, or wallet address.
- Copy a wallet address from any row.
Roles and names come from Vulcan's stored copy of your member list, so the list loads instantly and never checks holdings for each row. Open a member to check holdings.
A member's profile
Select a member to open their profile. It shows:
- Their Discord ID and a link to their Discord profile.
- Verified wallets connected to this server, with a copy button for each address.
- Token holdings: Vulcan checks which tokens this member holds that are relevant to your server's verify rules. This is a live check that starts when you open the profile, and it can take a moment. If the check fails, select Try again.
- Role activity: every time Vulcan granted or removed a role for this member in your server, and why.
- Support tickets the member has opened in your server.
Members who verified here and later left the server still appear in the verified view and still have a profile, so you can see who held what before they left.
Look up a member from Discord
Type /whois @member in any channel to see a member's details without opening the dashboard. The reply shows their Discord name and ID, when they joined your server, the wallets they linked to it, when they first verified, the Vulcan roles they hold, their last five role changes, and any open support tickets, with a link to their full profile. It doesn't check live holdings; open the profile for that.
Who can use it. Server admins, anyone with the Manage Server permission, and anyone with the support role set under Tickets on the dashboard. Everyone else is told they don't have access.
The reply is private. Only the person who ran the command sees it, because it includes wallet addresses.
By default Discord shows /whois only to members with Manage Server. To show it to another role, open Server Settings → Integrations → Vulcan, select /whois and add the role. That role can then run the command only if it is also your ticket support role.
Common uses
- A member says they lost a role. Open their profile, check their holdings, and read the role activity to see which rule removed it and when.
- Checking whether new joins are real collectors. Watch New members verified after a mint or a raid. A spike in joins with a low verified share is usually bots.
- Finding who holds a role. Filter the list by that role. Combine with Not verified to find members holding a role Vulcan does not manage.
- A rule that is not working. Rules needing attention names the rules that are paused, point at a deleted role, or that nobody qualifies for yet.
